About Us

What We Do

We focus on policy over parties.

Surveys — National, issue-specific surveys across student associations and youth networks.

Research — Survey data transformed into evidence-backed, non-partisan policy packets.

Coalition Building — Connecting youth-led organizations across Canada for issue-specific collaboration.

Direct Advocacy — Our findings, delivered directly to MP’s, Ministers and their policy teams.

Founding Principles

Youth United is a bipartisan, non-profit Canadian organization created by youth, for youth. We are founded on the principle that Canadians aged 16-25 share concerns that unite us across party lines and are not currently represented in politics. Youth United believes that our future can prosper under the right policy, and that young Canadians have more in common than we realize.

Closing The Gap

Most decisions that shape young people’s futures are made without young people at the table. Youth United closes that gap by converting youth priorities into clear, practical policy recommendations that decision-makers can use.

In Canada, the average Member of Parliament is 52, and the youngest MP is 25. That distance matters. As government choices become more future-focused, Youth United ensures the future is shaped by those who will live with the outcomes of today’s decisions.

Build expertise and connect with other young people who care about the same issues as you. Find common ground to advocate for real change that empowers young people, from coast to coast.
