Your Voice.
Your Future.

Who We Are

Youth United is a bipartisan, non-profit Canadian organization created by youth, for youth. We are founded on the principle that Canadians aged 16-25 share concerns that unite us across party lines and hold a perspective that goes unrepresented in provincial and federal politics.

Through grassroots research and national mobilization, we turn the ideas of young Canadians into real policy change.

Young people have never been given a seat at the table, so it’s time we build our own.

Our Key Stakeholders

Youth United gives young Canadians clarity and guidance to facilitate contribution to policy without the existing barriers-to-entry. Members build policy literacy, work with peers across the country, and turn priorities into practical recommendations to implement in political agendas.

For Young People

Youth United provides a nonpartisan channel to understand youth priorities beyond party-driven outreach. We consolidate input through surveys and working groups, then deliver our findings through national summits, panels, publications and leadership events. We strive to become the go-to source for Canada’s policymakers to hear the youth voice.

For Decision Makers

Youth United helps close the gap between institutions and the next generation of voters, workers, and builders. By focusing on shared priorities and workable solutions, we support trust, and more durable policy outcomes. Through Youth United, Canada’s future is one that encompasses all Canadians and all of our pasts, presents, and futures.

For Canada

Principles

Neutral Civic Education — We help youth members understand policy so their contributions are informed and effective.

Youth-Led — Youth perspectives set the agenda, and policy recommendations reflect those priorities to government.

Actionable Policy — We prioritize clear, cooperative policy ideas over bureaucratic interruptions and partisan talking points.

Our Approach

We focus on our similarities rather than our differences. By identifying the issues on which young Canadians concur, we are able to organize those priorities into clear proposals. Our network— our leadership and broader caucuses— discuss, refine, and vote on ideas to find consensus. From there, we develop practical recommendations tailored to real legislative pathways, all the while training our members to drive real change.
